Thompson Pump and Manufacturing Company, producers of heavy-duty transportable bypass and dewatering pumps, recently featured its 6 in solids dealing with pump with Enviroprime System at this year’s Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport (WWETT).

The Thompson Pump 6 in compressor-assisted solids handling pump (6JSCE) is designed for sewer bypass, emergency response and any high-head/high-volume functions. With its heavy-duty cast-iron development and fast priming capabilities, it could possibly deal with flows up to 2,680 gpm and heads as much as 190 ft, with maximum solids handling up to 3 in. This end-suction centrifugal pump can dry-prime and re-prime automatically and is provided with the Enviroprime System that does not permit product blow-by of pumped supplies.
