Police busted a woman in Phuket with 5 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine on Monday night. The Commander of Border Patrol Police Region 4, Pol. Maj. Gen. Somkun Kanchana-Udomkan, announced the arrest yesterday.
Officers had received a tip-off that a consignment of medication could be delivered in front of a durian store on Wichit Songkram Road within the Kathu district. The officers waited exterior of the store and arrested the woman when she arrived on her red Phuket-registered Honda PCX motorbike.
The girl matched the outline that the informant had provided. She was identified as 40 year old Kamonrat ‘Rose’ Poomyot, from the northeast Maha Sarakham province.
