Rotork assists BAE Systems in naval base actuator upgrades

เพชเชอร์เกจ has been working with BAE Systems to improve a collection of A-range actuators to IQ3 actuators which function penstocks controlling motion of ships between the sea and transitional locks and dry docks at Her Majesty’s Naval Base Portsmouth (HMNB Portsmouth).
A collection of A-range actuators had reached the end of their operational life after long service in a difficult surroundings. BAE Systems wanted to retain all the benefits of electrical actuators, so IQ3 actuators were chosen. เกจวัดแรงดันน้ำ had to be specially adapted by Rotork to overcome issues around confined areas and troublesome entry.
IQ3 actuators and IS gearboxes were mechanically adapted so that each actuator and gearbox could be operated by hand with out entering the confined space. Rotork designed special hand auto levers and thru drive mechanisms for the actuator and gearbox to remove the need for confined house access.
Actuators throughout the IQ range are watertight, providing ingress safety to IP66/68 at 20 m for 10 days. They have an advanced dual stacked display with configurable information logger functionality, and an absolute place sensor supplies reliability and accuracy.
